Deep Dive into Our Data
Why Our Data is Different
Everyone has access to the public data available online. We combine public data with proprietary data, this is the difference.

Public Data
Public data is available to everyone. The difference is not created by the proccess of collecting same, but how the public data is analysed and combined with proprietary data in order to create strategies that cannot be imitated.
Our public data colletion process involves scraping the Census data and applying it to a GIS model. Our GIS model covers 18,900 small areas within Ireland. As apposed to relying on much larger Electoral Divisions (3,500) we built a model that breaks back the data to every 100 no. households, giving us incredibly detailed data.

Proprietary Data
REAI’s sister company (Bannon) has been collecting data for 20+ years. Harnessing this data with the combination of the publicly available data allows us to build models that cannot be replicated.
Unlike the U.S. & U.K. banks, credit and data institutions Irish firms are strictly prohibited from producing data packages of their clients. Due to this, the ability to predict the purchasing power and consumer habits becomes increasingly diluted.
Relying on purely public data creates an imbalance of predictions in data models that then create unreliable data sets. Analysing unreliable data sets is a recipe for disaster. Unlike our competitors, we can build reliable data sets, as we have the proprietary data collected by Bannon for 20+ years.

Mobile Data
Similarly to using solely publicly available data, mobile data cannot purely solve your issues. Used in combination with our public data models and our proprietary models, it enhances our ability to predict the catchment of your asset, allowing us to poke holes in our previously understood catchment model. It also informs us of where you’re not acquiring customers, leaving us the ability to measure potential growth.
Mobile data is provided by highly verified 3rd party providers. The data is anonymised to comply with GDPR policiesand is delivered to us in its raw form.
